Adobe AIR, Windows 7 + Multi-touch

Here are the fruits of some R & D effort that I've been involved with here at Cynergy. It's a fun project researching simulated multi-touch input into an Adobe AIR client. There are basic multi-touch gestures on a HP TouchSmart IR device with Windows 7. This is purely Flex & ActionScript only, with gesture inference based on all types of input events. It is not using any other service with socket communication to the OS to receive touch events; it is purely based off of the single input stream from AIR 1.5.

The gesture recognition is not yet as precise at the OS-level gesture recognition built into Windows 7, but its a heck of a start if you ask me!

Enjoy!
